在为期一个月的“艺术五感”学科节里，世外小学国际部的学子们，开启了一场全身心沉浸的感官之旅，让创造力在探索中自由绽放。
During the month-long "Artistic Five Senses" interdisciplinary festival, students from the WFL International Division embarked on a fully immersive sensory journey, allowing creativity to blossom freely through exploration.
釉色初染 聆听与发现First Glimpse of Glaze: Listening and Discovery
艺术节从静心地聆听开始。5月23日，在艺术节开幕式上，Cathy老师带我们走进博物馆看瓷器，细细讲述那些安静器物上的东方美学故事，仿佛打开了历史的一扇窗。同时，Simon老师发起了“Arts Bingo”活动，鼓励大家走出教室，制作一个陶瓷作品；还要去捕捉风的声音、鸟的鸣叫、雨的节奏，发现身边最美的音乐。这一刻，孩子们感知世界的方式，变得更加细腻了。
The arts festival began with mindful listening. On May 23rd, at the opening ceremony, Teacher Cathy led students into a virtual museum tour of porcelain, weaving stories about the Oriental aesthetic embedded in these silent artifacts. It was opening a window into history. Meanwhile, Teacher Simon launched the "Arts Bingo" activity, encouraging everyone to step out of the classroom, create a ceramic work, capture the sounds of wind, birds, and rain, and discover the most beautiful music in everyday life. In this moment, children’s ways of perceiving the world became more delicate.
群羽振声 梦想在舞台 Feathers Resonating: Dreams on Stage
作为艺术节的重磅项目，5月29日，四年级师生倾注一年心血打造的原创音乐剧《Sing》上演。这部改编自《欢乐好声音》的作品，讲述了一群怀抱梦想的歌手突破生活藩篱、用歌声浇灌希望的故事。70分钟高能唱跳演，25首动人曲目，舞台上学生们爆发的小宇宙令人惊叹。更令人动容的是幕后的点滴：孩子们全身心投入角色、临场机智的默契互助、后台的温暖关怀，无不闪耀着成长的光芒。台下观众忘情应和，掌声与欢呼汇成最温暖的燃料。尤为珍贵的是，门厅那引人注目的“SING”大型雕塑，是孩子们在艺术老师指导下，亲手利用回收材料创作而成——环保理念与团队精神，在艺术实践中悄然扎根。
As the festival’s highlight, on May 29th, fourth-grade teachers and students premiered their original musical "Sing," a year in the making. Adapted from Sing, the musical tells the story of dream-driven singers breaking through life’s barriers and nurturing hope with their voices. In 70 minutes of high-energy singing, dancing, and acting students unleashed a spectacular stage presence. The whole musical featuried 25 moving tracks. Behind the scenes, their dedication to roles, improvisational teamwork, and backstage camaraderie shimmered with enthusiasm The audience’s enthusiastic responses and thunderous applause became the warmest fuel. Notably, the eye-catching "SING" sculpture in the foyer, crafted by students under art teachers’ guidance using recycled materials, subtly rooted environmental awareness and teamwork in artistic practice.
穹顶共振 歌声连世界 Dome Resonance: Songs Connecting the World
5月31日，国际部合唱团飞向更辽阔的舞台——参加“Heart Chorus‘上海之心’国际合唱比赛”，与来自全球的百余支队伍“齐聚大松江，以歌声为桥，跨越国界与文化”。舞台上，孩子们音色纯净和谐，状态自信饱满。每一次勇敢站在聚光灯下，都是内心力量的悄然生长。最终，他们用实力捧回沉甸甸的“上海之心国际艺术节合唱C1童声组金奖”，让世界听见了他们的声音。
On May 31st,WFL International Division’s chorus stepped onto a broader stage at the "Heart Chorus ‘Shanghai Heart’ International Choir Competition," joining hundreds of teams worldwide to "gather in Songjiang and bridge borders and cultures through music." Onstage, the children’s pure, harmonious voices and confident demeanor reflected the quiet growth of inner strength. Their performance earned them the prestigious "Shanghai Heart International Arts Festival Choir C1 Children’s Choir Gold Award," letting the world hear their voices.
斗拱陶韵 感受古与今Dougong and Pottery Rhymes: Feeling Past and Present
艺术节讲座亦是回望与传承的课堂。陶笛演奏家史峰老师一曲《天空之城》宛转悠扬，直抵心灵，陶韵袅袅间，梦想仿佛随之轻盈起飞。古建筑研究员丁艳丽老师则带领同学们步入中国古建筑的智慧殿堂，深入浅出地剖析了千年屹立的奥秘——精妙绝伦的榫卯结构。当榫卯社团的同学在30秒内敏捷拆解鲁班锁，古老匠心的智慧火花在互动中热烈迸发，无声诉说着：艺术的活力，既在锐意创新，亦在对优秀传统的虔诚守护。
Festival lectures served as classrooms for reflection and inheritance. Ocarina master Shi Feng’s melody "Castle in the Sky" resonated deeply. This was while the ancient architecture researcher Ding Yanli guided students into the wisdom of Chinese architecture, unpacking the millennial mystery of its stability—the ingenious mortise-tenon structure. When the mortise-tenon club members disassembled a Luban Lock in 30 seconds, the sparks of ancient craftsmanship ignited in interactive dialogue. Remember artistic vitality thrives not only in innovation but also in reverent guardianship of tradition.
虚实共生 互动中创作Virtual-Meets-Real: Creation in Interaction
艺术节的尾声，是一场颠覆感官的“ART Mini Exhibition”。入口处，学生手作的“SING”雕塑如灯塔矗立，对面屏幕流淌着音乐剧的流光溢彩。孩子们化身剧中角色，定格专属Pose。随即踏入全息教室虚实交织的秘境——孩子们的艺术作品展：UOI课衍生的个性电子外壳设计作品、Arts Bingo的陶艺小作品、微缩景观中的乾坤世界。视觉、触觉、想象在此交融碰撞，抵达“Five senses of ART”的沉浸奇点！
The festival concluded with a sensory-defying "ART Mini Exhibition." At the entrance, students’ handcrafted "SING" sculpture stood like a lighthouse, opposite a screen showcasing the musical’s brilliance. Children posed as characters from the show, then entered the holographic classroom—a of student art: UOI-inspired personalized electronic case designs, Arts Bingo ceramic works, and miniature landscapes. Here, vision, touch, and imagination collided, reaching the immersive singularity of "Five senses of ART"!
荣光时刻 汗水结硕果Moments of Glory: Sweat Bears Fruit
6月20日，在艺术节闭幕式上，学校表彰了积极参与艺术作品创作的学生。尤为闪耀的是三位在舞蹈领域取得卓越成就的女孩：
On June 20th, at the festival 's closing ceremony, the school honored students for their artistic contributions. Three girls shone particularly in dance:
一年级的 Nini：荣获国际青少年舞蹈大赛双料金奖、徐汇区艺术单项一等奖并选送市赛。
Nini (Grade 1): Double gold medals at the International Youth Dance Competition, First Prize in Xuhui District’s Art Solo Competition, and selected for the city-level competition.
三年级的 Winlyn：荣膺 2025 韩国艺术与文化联盟部长奖国际舞蹈比赛 Top Prize。
Winlyn (Grade 3): Top Prize at the 2025 South Korea Art and Culture Alliance Minister’s Award International Dance Competition.

她们以令人惊叹的功底和艺术表现力，在舞台上完美诠释了“台上一分钟，台下十年功”的坚韧。每一个舒展的舞姿，都是对热爱最赤诚的献礼。
Their astounding skills and artistic expression perfectly embodied the tenacity of "one minute on stage, ten years of practice offstage." Every graceful dance move was a sincere tribute to their passion.
当指尖塑形陶土、耳廓捕捉陶笛清音、身体随音乐剧节拍律动、目光在古建光影间游走、画笔在想象疆域驰骋——五感全开之时，艺术便不再是远观的展品，而是生命本身鲜活的呼吸与脉动。这场感官盛宴的落幕，只是下一段探索的序曲。
When fingertips shape clay, ears catch ocarina melodies, bodies move to musical beats, eyes wander through architectural ，and brushes gallop across the of imagination—when all five senses awaken, art ceases to be a distant exhibit and becomes the vivid breath and pulse of life itself. The end of this sensory feast is but the overture to the next journey of exploration.
