随着数字化时代的到来，孩子们对游戏的热衷让不少家长感到困惑：

With the advent of the digital age, many parents are puzzled by their children's enthusiasm for games:
l Why are they so easily "addicted" to games?
l What exactly is the appeal of games?
l How can we effectively communicate with our children to solve these problems?
世外小学国际部家委会家校大讲堂作为“家校共育”的积极平台，致力于将家庭教育与学校教育紧密结合，形成教育的正向合力，陪伴学校、孩子与家庭的共同成长。为了帮助家长解答这些疑问，4月24日下午，上海市世外小学国际部家委会特别邀请了资深游戏布道师、游戏化教育专家熊拖泥（熊爸）老师，与家长们一起探讨了“孩子与游戏”的话题。
The Home-School Lecture Hall of the International Department of Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School serves as a proactive platform for "home-school co-education." It is committed to closely integrating family education with school education, forming a positive synergy in education, and accompanying the common growth of the school, children, and families. In order to help parents answer these questions, on the afternoon of April 24th, the Home Committee of the International Department of Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School specially invited Mr. Xiong Tuoni (Father Xiong), a senior game evangelist and an expert in gamified education, to discuss the topic of "Children and Games" with parents.
熊爸分享了他超过四十年的游戏经历和二十多年的行业经验，并为家长们提供了全新的视角。他指出：”GAME”这个词在中文语境中的意思过于狭窄，它作为一个概念，实际上无处不在，无论是棋牌、体育运动，甚至中国古代的“六艺”，本质上都是一种游戏。每个人都在日常生活中都扮演着“gamer”的角色。游戏的吸引力来自其本身的独特优势——通过光、声和交互，给人带来深刻的体验感，这也使其成为具有无限创新可能和深远影响力的媒介。
Father Xiong shared his game experience of more than 40 years and his industry experience of over 20 years, providing parents with a new perspective. He pointed out that the word "GAME" has an overly narrow meaning in the Chinese context. As a concept, it actually exists everywhere. Whether it's board games, sports, or even the ancient Chinese "Six Arts," they are all essentially a form of game. Everyone plays the role of a "gamer" in their daily lives.
《纪念碑谷》、《我的世界》、《光遇》和《健身环大冒险》等富有创意且具有教育意义的游戏是熊爸向家长和孩子们推荐的好游戏。他建议家长们提升对游戏的认知，避免让孩子接触赌博类和消费型游戏。
The appeal of games comes from their unique advantages. Through light, sound, and interaction, games bring people a profound sense of experience, making them a medium with infinite innovative possibilities and far-reaching influence. Father Xiong recommended some creative and educational games to parents and children, such as *Monument Valley*, *Minecraft*, *Sky: Children of the Light*, and *Ring Fit Adventure*. He suggested that parents should enhance their understanding of games and avoid exposing their children to gambling and consumption-oriented games.
通过对比学校教育中的“学”和游戏中的“学”，家长们更清楚地理解了孩子为何更倾向于在游戏中学习。熊爸指出，孩子玩游戏不仅是娱乐，背后其实表达了他们对价值、认同、陪伴和成长的需求。家长可以通过观察和沟通，了解孩子在日常生活中未被满足的需求，并借鉴游戏中的关卡设计、容错空间和成长体验，将这些“玩”的元素融入到日常“学”的过程中，帮助孩子更好地成长。
By comparing the "learning" in school education with the "learning" in games, parents have a clearer understanding of why children are more inclined to learn in games. Father Xiong pointed out that when children play games, it is not just for entertainment. Behind it actually expresses their needs for value, recognition, companionship, and growth. Parents can understand the unmet needs of their children in daily life through observation and communication. By drawing on the level design, tolerance for mistakes, and growth experiences in games, parents can integrate these elements of "playing" into the daily "learning" process to help their children grow better.
通过这次讲座，家长们对游戏的吸引力、如何选择“好游戏”以及如何陪伴孩子玩游戏等问题有了更清晰的认识。相信在家长与孩子们的共同努力下，未来将能够在游戏中发现更多学习与成长的乐趣。
